Call us to schedule an appointment today! Marjorie Livingston MS,RD,CDN
Help you achieve your optimal health and well-being.
The approach we take is different for everyone. Depending on your goals or health issues, we will look at a variety of things. Various tests and lab work may be requested as we work together depending on the presentation of your symptoms (we can order these through our office.) We may want to know the diversity of your microbiome, (bacteria in the gut), neurotransmitter levels (for sleep, anxiety issues), inflammatory markers, nutrient levels, or hormone levels.
60 minutes in length.
It is an in-depth intake to learn about you. You are asked to complete an assessment before the visit so our time together can allow you to leave with a basic roadmap to feeling better. Typically, initial recommendations (to include food, supplements, lifestyle, testing) will be made at the first visit with a follow-up visit scheduled in about 3 weeks to monitor progress, discuss test results, and adjust or add recommendations as needed. Appointments are then usually spaced 4-6 weeks apart to monitor and make changes as more information is uncovered and progress is made.
If you have any questions, please call us for more information. We look forward to working with you.
This assessment can take place in our office, or a virtual visit if needed. During this 60-minute session. We will be focusing on you. Our aim is to review your health history, explore your health goals, look at your current dietary patterns, review testing you may already have done as well as supplements and medications you currently take. We will discuss your relationship with food (how you feel both in and outside of the kitchen).
At the very core of your health is your gut. Therefore, we often recommend the diagnostic GI-MAP test to assess your microbial health. We also use the DUTCH test to evaluate hormone and cortisol levels. Depending on your needs, we also utilize tests that look at neurotransmitter levels when anxiety or sleep are issues, comprehensive nutrient level tests when nutrient deficiencies are suspected and tests for food sensitivities.
Several of these are in-home tests that can be shipped to and from your home.

During this consultation, we will lay the foundation for achieving your health goals and meeting your health needs by reviewing and explaining the results of your test and discussing any changes since your last visit. Using this information, we will then be able to hone in on your immediate needs, address any questions/concerns you may have and take the next steps in your wellness journey.
